Crews Complete Assignments

We had 19 volunteers Saturday at 124 Hasty Road installing sheetrock on the walls under the capable crewmanship of Carroll Peterson. Meanwhile, we had 10 ladies at the Habitat warehouse on Excelsior Street painting doors, jamb kits, facings, baseboard and shoe mould under the equally good supervision of Miriam Peterson.

The sheetrock work required a 10 hour day with a total of 140 labor hours expended, a multitude of measurements & cuts and 3,000 nails hammered. But, we managed to finish to have it ready to call in our sheetrock finishing sub next week.

The Ladies wrapped up their painting requirements by 1:30 PM, or a total of 50 labor hours expended. They finished their task with a celebration dance.
