The end our our project is in sight. The Ellis family is starting to make plans to move in!
Here are the important steps left:
June 11 - The flooring will be completed. We will do baseboards and shoe mold on Saturday. Have 300 feet of each to install. Crew and lunch have been lined up.
Starting June 14th, we will complete phase 2 wiring, call for inspection and get Georgia Power to hook us up with a permanent line. Then we can install thermostat and trial run HVAC. We will also insulate pipes under the house, install closet shelving, mount kitchen and bathroom cabinets by the end of the week. Volunteers have been scheduled.
June 21st, we will complete phase 2 plumbing for all hook-ups. Get the gutters and down spouts installed. Move all appliances to the house and connect. Install all kitchen and bath accessories.
June 26 - Have Harvey Burnes grade and scrape the front and side yard for landscaping on the 26th. Five Springs is donating the plants and Coosa Valley Turf is giving us the sod. We have a large crew lined up for that all important street appeal.
June 27 at 4:00 PM - Dedication!
June 28 - we will get the Certificate of Occupancy.
